Saint City Ministry Update May 2012
Greeting
God is preparing something huge for our ministry. First we would like to announce that we are starting a non-profit called Sow and Sow Ministries. All the paper work has been completed and we are about 90 days away from officially launching our first ministry project called Drop Your Socks. We will be raising money nationwide for socks for the homeless and needy communities around our country.
We haven’t been back to see family in almost three years so this summer we will travel cross country from June 11th through the first week in August, stopping to minister in more than 10 cities along this journey. I will be sharing my testimony, music and holding some evangelism workshops for churches and youth groups. We have already set up a lot of dates and contacts in other cities but are still looking to set something up in Chicago, Des Moines, Kansas City, Columbus, Cincinnati and Cleveland. If you have any ministry contacts in these cities please refer us.
UNLV campus outreach and bible study breaks for the summer. Discipleship has been taken to a new
level with the students at the 1pm Bible study. They have been challenged by the Word of God to examine the way they live their lives with everything from pre-marital sex to what love really is.
First Friday outreach continues to grow with the addition of a Thursday night weekly bible study. This outreach has been a learning experience that has forced us to look at evangelism biblically rather than through the strategies of man. First Friday continues to be a fruitful ministry, especially now that we have a weekly bible study in the same location.
Please pray for our family as we step out in faith on this cross-country trip. Protection and Provision. Also please pray for our non-profit paperwork to go through without issues. Big things ahead.
God Bless,
Travis and Kimberly
